East Cape, Los Cabos

I have interesting news to share with you concerning the new East Cape highway system. We have heard rumors about it over the years, but now It looks like the dream will finally become a reality.

Our Governor, Agundez Montano announced last week that a new highway will connect the International airport to the East Cape coastline intersecting 2 miles north of Costa de Oro on the south side of Boca del Salado. This area of coastline is located 26 miles north of San Jose del Cabo, and 22 miles directly east of the International airport. Construction is to begin in May of this year.  All the permits have been approved for the easement property within the path between the airport and the coastline.
